Cockroach Control

Cockroaches are among the most widespread pests in Cairo due to warm weather and aging drainage systems in many buildings. At Nile Germany, we encounter two main types: the German cockroach (Blattella germanica) - small, light brown, mostly in kitchens and bathrooms; and the American cockroach (Periplaneta americana) - large, reddish-brown, emerging from drains and pipe outlets.

The distinction matters because treatment differs. German cockroaches breed at incredible speed: a female produces 30 cockroaches monthly and lives 6 months - meaning theoretically one creature becomes 1000 in a single season. The American type breeds slower but is harder to catch because it hides in drains and ventilation pipes.

The bigger problem with cockroaches is they carry dangerous bacteria (Salmonella, E. coli) on the surfaces they walk. Cockroach allergens are a leading cause of childhood asthma in Cairo - shed skin and droppings contaminate indoor air.

Our protocol uses a combined system: Phase one places gel bait (جل ألماني عالي الكفاءة) at specific points along cockroach movement paths. The gel works smartly - a cockroach eats it, returns to the nest, and the queen dies along with the rest of the colony. Within 14-21 days, the entire colony is gone.

Phase two applies residual spray to dark areas (behind the fridge, under the sink, behind the oven, drain points). The spray targets areas the gel can't reach and creates a protective layer effective for 6-9 months.

Our results: 97% of customers report 90% reduction in sightings within two weeks, and complete elimination within 4 weeks. We offer a written warranty up to 9 months - the longest warranty in the Egyptian market.

Important note: American cockroaches typically return from the building's general drainage, even if your apartment is perfectly clean. That's why we treat drain openings with specialized bacterial bait that prevents larvae breeding inside pipes, breaking the return cycle.
