Ant trails coming down a wall or floor from one direction
Ant Control
Eliminate the entire colony from the root with smart bait carried by workers to the queen - a proven scientific solution with no visible spraying.
We use smart bait carried by workers to the queen, eliminating the entire colony, not just visible ants. A proven scientific solution.
Why This Infestation Matters
Ants are among the most frustrating pests for Egyptian customers because "people keep spraying" and ants return within a week. The real reason: spraying only kills visible workers, while the queen in her nest continues laying 200 eggs daily - meaning spray gives you two quiet days, then they return in greater numbers.
At Nile Germany we use a completely different protocol: smart bait system. The idea is simple - we place sugar bait mixed with a delayed-action pesticide (specialized German sugar bait). Worker ants take the bait and return to the nest, distributing it to the queen and entire colony. The pesticide acts slowly (24-48 hours) so all ants are exposed before any die. Within a week, the entire colony is eliminated from the root.
In Cairo, the most common species: Pharaoh ant (Monomorium pharaonis) - small, yellow, found in kitchens and bathrooms. Argentine ant (Linepithema humile) - medium, brown, forms long trails. Carpenter ant (Camponotus) - large, black, damages wood. Each species needs different bait and placement.
The big advantage of bait: no spraying needed, so no odors in the home and no long evacuation. The technician needs only 45 minutes and knows exactly where to place bait based on the ant trail you observed.
But real solution requires a critical second step: trail tracing to the original nest. Every ant trail returns to a specific nest, and if we don't find it and only treat the counter, the result is temporary. Our technician uses the "feeding trace" technique - places an attractive food point, observes where ants come from, and follows the trail to the actual nest. Then we place bait at the nest entrance itself.
The result: 92% of cases disappear permanently within 7-10 days, with a 4-month written warranty. If ants reappear during this period, we return and re-treat at no charge.
Important note: ants typically return from gardens or infested neighbors. If your apartment is on the ground floor or has a balcony with a garden, we recommend periodic treatment every 4-6 months.
How Do You Know You Have a Problem?
Watch for these signs and act fast before they spread
Ants in kitchen cabinets or around sugar/sweets sources
Small ant gatherings near water points (sink, bathroom)
Flying ants inside the home (indicates a new nearby nest)
A small dirt mound next to the home's exterior wall (nest entrance)
Important Scientific Facts
Facts about this pest that may surprise you
Eggs per day per queen
A single queen lays 200 eggs daily, and the colony doubles every 30 days.
Queen lifespan
An ant queen can live up to 20 years - a continuous reproduction factory throughout that lifespan.
Power drop without queen
If 50% of workers die but the queen lives, the colony returns to original size within two weeks.
Body weight lifted
Ants lift 50 times their body weight - at this strength, a human could lift a truck.
Our Specialized Treatment Protocol
Scientifically designed methodology for every step
Trail Tracing to the Nest
The technician uses the feeding trace technique: places an attractive food point, observes the ant trail, and follows it to the original nest - instead of treating randomly.
Species Identification
We identify the species (Pharaoh, Argentine, Carpenter) - each eats different bait. Pharaoh prefers protein, Argentine prefers sugar.
Strategic Bait Placement
We place specialized German bait at 15-20 points along the trail and at the nest entrance. Bait is invisible and requires no evacuation.
Exterior Residual Spray
External barrier spray around the home (windows, doors, AC vents) to prevent new ants entering from the garden.
Sealing Entry Points
Sealing cracks around pipes and electrical openings with silicone, plus blocker strips under doors.
How To Prepare For The Technician's Visit
Simple instructions to streamline the work and ensure safety
- 1 Clean the kitchen of sugar and sweet residue before the visit
- 2 Do NOT wipe the visible ant trail - the technician needs to follow it to the nest
- 3 Do NOT spray pesticide before the visit - it makes ants close the trail and dig a new one
- 4 Move pet food away (it attracts ants quickly)
- 5 Report any balcony with garden or plants - it's usually the original source
- 6 Open infested cabinets before the visit so the technician can inspect
